Why is a player's email address required?

TGS requires each player 12 years and older to have a unique email address.  The reason for this is that when a player is in 8th grade they are now at the age for college recruiting. When you add the player's email address the system will automatically send them an email asking them to activate their Player Profile. Every player is given a FREE player profile. This profile is automatically linked with the player's team, club and the college coach accounts. 

** We strongly recommend that every player update their basic profile so that the college coaches can search for them and see their basic information.
